Who we are.

Gesto Comercialização de Energia is the Gesto Group company specialised in representing power plants in the market and participating in system services. We manage and optimise renewable generation assets and battery energy storage systems (BESS) through innovative technology platforms and solutions based on agentic artificial intelligence.

With more than 20 years of experience in energy consulting and the development of renewable energy projects, we know every plant across all phases of its life cycle — from design and development to operation and participation in the energy and system-services markets.

Since the roll-out of the MARI platform, this also includes small production units (UPPs) aggregated into Physical Aggregation Units (UFAs).

How does it work for plants > 1 MW?
For industrial plants (solar, wind, BESS), we take over day-ahead and intraday scheduling in MIBEL, imbalance management and participation in system-services markets (mFRR, aFRR, FCR). Production profile and hedging strategy designed case by case, with a dedicated account manager and continuous AI optimisation.
How does invoicing work?
For plants and UPPs, invoicing is monthly and adjusted to the traded volume.
How long does onboarding take?
Plants > 1 MW: typically 4 to 12 weeks, depending on technical complexity and existing licensing. We handle all the paperwork.
